How It Works
Class Duration:
- Our standard painting class package consists of 5 classes, each spanning a comfortable 2 hours for age 14+ and 1 hour for ages 8 to 13.
Class Location:
- Classes are conducted at Prairie Hills Gallery, conveniently situated at 843 Massachusetts St. in Downtown Lawrence, Kansas. Our gallery's charming and artistic atmosphere serves as the perfect backdrop for your creative journey.
All Equipment Provided:
- We provide all the essential equipment and materials you need. You can simply show up with an eagerness to learn, and we'll take care of the rest.

Our comprehensive curriculum covers vital painting skills and concepts, including:

Students learn about the color wheel, primary and secondary colors, complementary colors, and color mixing techniques. Understanding color theory is essential for creating harmonious and visually appealing paintings.
Mixing Paint

Brushwork & Control
